Here at GeoCommons we are trying to spread information to the public using maps as a way to better understand data. Maps are intuitive to read, and generally simple to understand, making them a great way to disseminate information. Blogs are also a great way to spread data quickly and easily, so i’ve built this quick and simple tutorial to show bloggers how to embed interactive and pertinent information into your blog using GeoCommons. I’ve added a video which will show the entire process, from uploading data, to building the map and then embedding the map into this Blog, and in lightning quick time:

here is the YouTube video of the making of the map seen below:

Here is the map:
#maker_map_10477 {width: 100%; height: 400px;}

Maker.maker_host=’http://maker.geocommons.com’;Maker.finder_host=’http://finder.geocommons.com’;Maker.core_host=’http://core.geocommons.com’;
Maker.load_map(“maker_map_10477″, “10477″);

    Hello! Someone in my Myspace group shared this website with us so I came to check it out. I’m definitely loving the information. I’m book-marking and will be tweeting this to my followers! Terrific blog and excellent design and style.
